These come from the Cannabis Control Division's FAQ and Quick Reference Guide for Personal Use:
- Age: adult-use sales are for people 21 or older, after the dispensary verifies age and identity with a valid ID.
- Purchase limits: adult-use customers can buy or carry up to 2 ounces of cannabis, 16 grams of concentrate, 800 milligrams of edibles, or 6 immature plants at one time.
- Where to consume: in a private residence or a licensed consumption lounge. Use while driving or in public spaces (restaurants, parks, public sidewalks) is illegal, and public use can mean a fine of up to $50.
- Storage: out of public view and out of reach of children and pets, ideally in the original packaging, or keep the label if the packaging is damaged.
- In-state only: product must be an intrastate (in-state) purchase.
